The Gay Hussar is London´s most celebrated Hungarian restaurant, located in the heart of Theatreland in Soho. For 50 years it has served a traditional Hungarian menu that boasts many national specialities complimented by a selection of the finest Hungarian wines. The menu is exciting and indulgent, from chilled wild cherry soup to veal goulash pancake with creamed spinach, crispy roast duck with red cabbage and apple sauce, to decadent desserts like poppy seed strudel. Service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is charming, quirky, intimate and not to be missed.
