Full Description
The Union Street Bar and Restaurant opened its doors as a bar in December 2003 and the restaurant was launched in January 2004. The building is a converted 19th century shoe factory laid out over three floors. The ambience is enhanced by the spectacular sash windows and interior design that surround all levels. Its location runs between Donegall Street and Little Donegall Street in the heart of the city centre. Choose between eating in the donwstairs area which is a busy cosmopolitan bar or enjoy the more private setting of the luxurious middle floor. Here new and old are in perfect balance, creating an atmosphere that is at once progressive and classic. The Union Street pub is ideal for evening dining with the ambient music and open fires creating the perfect setting for a unique gastronomic experience. The restaurant's ethos is to go back to basics producing good quality, good value dining with a twist providing fresh ingredients to all hamburgers and hand-cut homemade chips.
