" We´d forgotton how good Malmaison Belfast was as the Hi Life has spoilt us by encouraging us to try different restaurants but we visited it just before the Christy Moore concert in the Waterfront and were reminded of the very high standards adhered to. It´s been a while since we´ve been and were pleased to see they had changed the decor as it has previously been a little oppressive, but the new nautical theme brought a new atmosphere. Service was particulary good (as we had remembered it) and our waiter was very helpful in choosing wines and dishes. Time was a constraint and so we could only order 2 courses but we were again reminded of the high standard of the food. Strangely, it was not busy (possibly because it was early) but I´m guessing the word has not got out yet about how good this restaurant is. I would classify it under ´Fine Dining´ catagory and will certainly revisit it soon. "
