Serving some of the finest Italian cuisine this side of Rome, Bella Napoli is now regarded as a Glasgow institution. Run by Scotland's very own Italian celebrity chef Domenico Crolla, this restaurant in Shawlands on Glasgow's south side is one of its best. In a bid to ensure that his chefs have the best quality ingredients to work with, Domenico personally sources produce and wines from regions across Italy. The biggest culinary draw here are undoubtedly the pizzas and indeed Bella Napoli has won several awards for them, each of which are proudly displayed in a trophy cabinet.

" We booked over the phone but when we got to the restaurant our booking was not on the system but there were plenty of empty tables so it was fine.We had lovely mussels in tomato sauce and garlic bread for starters then two gorgeous pizzas followed by cheesecake and apple pie, both with ice cream,all excellent!When we got the bill they had only taken off two courses instead of three so i pointed out that the website says up to three courses ,so he took the dessert off too! We will be back as we love the food, but make sure you get your proper three course deal and make sure you are booked properly on their system as you may get turned away if it is really busy.. "
