Down the cobbled stones of Ashton Lane, just off bustling Byres Road, is the Ashoka. Situated close to the Glasgow University campus, the area attracts a young and trendy crowd, offering great curries at reasonable prices. The interior is very pleasant with most of the tables arranged in booths round the wall. A colourful and unique mural is a real feature and adds to the friendly atmosphere. The menu is enormous with no fewer than seventeen house specialities, so there will definitely be something to please all pallets.
