23 Bar & Restaurant aims to provide the best standards of informal, contemporary dining in chic surroundings. The restaurant itself has chocolate brown walls, dark wood designer furniture and unusual arched ceilings, bathed in a fiery glow of gold, orange and red. It still has that distinctive buzz drifting up from the bar below yet retains its air of sophisticated intimacy. The menu is fresh and contemporary with a distinct European flavour, and fast becoming one of Sheffield’s hottest places to eat.

" The food is super but it is impossible to make a booking as the front of house is a disaster. Suggest you turn up out of the blue and hope you can get a table because they either don´t return your calls or make your reservation if you call them. "
