Full Description
Nathan and Matthew Evans, along with their mother, run the excellent 1885 The Restaurant. They have worked on P & O cruise ships and in Michelin-starred restaurants such as Auberge du Lac. Now behind the tiller of their own establishment, a converted Victorian cottage overlooking the Pennines, they serve some of the best cuisine in the Halifax area. Sample, for instance, seared grouse breast with roast baby fennel, pea and potato pancake and vanilla jus. Only then will you fully comprehend the quality of their cuisine.
