As members now well know, the most glittering night in the restaurant calendar, takes place each year in late January, when the winners of the “best restaurants” in various categories are announced.
We at Hi-Life have always been proud that the annual Hi-Life Dining Awards, seen as the industry ‘Oscars on the North’ and now in their 25th year, are the largest restaurant accolades to be voted for by the dining public.
The Hi-Life Dining Awards – or HILDA’s as they are now universally known – are incredibly sought after within the industry because they are a recognition of where you the dining public feel are the best restaurants. The Oscar style awards are a great spectacle and a host of different TV stars and celebrities – such as Noddy Holder, Dave Spikey, Raymond Blanc etc etc - take it in turns to make the presentations.
