Grenache recently beat off stiff competition to win the Hi Life Dining Award for Best North West Restaurant 2012 and customer feedback highlights that it is unusual to find a restaurant of this quality outside of Manchester City Centre. In June of this year, they also won the Good Food Guides Best North West Restaurant 2012, a fantastic achievement by anyone’s standards. Their menu changes weekly and the atmosphere is a constant buzz of excitement. Combine all this with fantastic food and first class service and you won’t be disappointed. Grenache’s mission statement is ’to become one of Manchester’s top fine dining experiences’ which has certainly been achieved with an innovative menu which makes you want to return time and time again.

" The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was fantastic with excellent portions. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cosy with candle lit tables enhanced by an attractive decor. The house red wine was exceptional, really smooth and morish. We were not rushed and had an enjoyable evening. "

" In five years as a regular Hi Life diner, this restaurant stands out in not only food and decor, but the wonderful service. The host ´Huss´ went that extra mile and not only knew our names as we walked through the door, but spent time explaining HiLife and our qualifying offer to us as we sat down. I can recommend the cinammon creme brulee!!! Very impressed overall and Grenache could teach some of the long standing restaurants in HiLife a thing or two on how to make guests feel ´special´, Try it out, you wont be disappointed! "

" Grenache is indeed a gem and for us that special restaurant that leaves you feeling well and truly satisfied. The friendly attentive staff complimented the Chef´s excellant cooking and presentation. We had the wonderful scallops with black pudding and for mains the fillet steak that was cooked to perfection. An aniversary treat but we will not be waiting too long for a return visit. "

" cant remember when we last had such a wonderful meal served by such friendly and attentive staff. we both had the fillet steak which was huge and cooked to perfection,the owner even brought us extra veg without being asked! . if you are thinking of driving be aware they can offer a limo collection and delivery service at a price not much more than a taxi what more could you ask for, brilliant! " Walkden´s little gem ! Finally got round to visiting Grenache and what a treat ! The resstaurant is very cosy and well fitted out with a seperate bar upstairs. The menu is very reasonable and varied, apparently changes weekly due to only fresh produce being used. The wine list is also very reasonable. I had the scallops and black pudding for starters which was excellent and my wife and I both had the fillet steak for mains, which we both agreed were the best steaks we had had in ages. Overall a really excellent meal and what is even better we only live 5 mins walk away ! "
