Full Description

Il-Piatto offer delicious dishes together with some of the best Italian wines. Where ever possible they source their ingredients locally and use fresh vegetables to ensure quality and freshness. All meals are cooked to order in their open plan kitchen, where you can view the staff in action, creating the dishes for which they are renowned. To complete your meal why not try one of their homemade desserts and a fragrant Italian coffee with an Italian spirit.

" I eat here about once a month which is my main reason for getting the Hi-life card. Claudio is continually developing and evolving his menu making excellent use of both seasonal and local produce. His New menu which has just been released, has seen him bump up the numbers of fish dishes and pasta sauce options. I love the starter of Spaghetti with Salsicca here and the risotto is still superb. The steaks here are always cooked fantastically and the service is excellent. He has recently revamped inside and it looks a whole lot better. He promises more development this spring. A firm fav of mine, Claudio has always stuck to the "no chips" principle. The only downside I have with this place is the accompanying veg for main courses are nearly always swimming in oil and quite frankly bland and boring. But that is a small price to pay for a true treat. "
