With their simple philosophy of offering great food and service at affordable prices, Seagrass has firmly made its mark in Dublin’s trendy D2.They source the best local and international ingredients that they can find and produce dishes such as the delicious black marinated braised pork belly, pan fried filet of Kilmore Quay hake and Chilli roasted octopus and coconut risotto. The desserts are fabulous too, with a particular favourite being their baked New York cheesecake. Seagrass are passionate and progressive in what they do and also offer an extremely friendly dining experience. Well worth a trip.
My wife and I have visited countless restaurants in Belfast but we came down to Dublin for the Dublin Taste Festival tomorrow. We choose Seagrass for its locality but were so glad we had because from the moment we rang to book to when we left we were so pleased with the quality of the food and service from them. There were two staff waiting on the tables, both under pressure but both really professional and attentive. The food was more akin to fine dining but without the small portions; a little dissapointing that we could not find the room for desert but the starter and main course were so good we found it hard to think when we´d been so pleased with a similar meal. Well done to Seagrass and thanks for a lovely evening.
