If Durham had a Cosa Nostra, this is where they would eat. Opposite the Swan and Three Cygnets - this restaurant seems to have been transported from the old country. The food is authentic, with the menu offering a good choice of pizza and pasta dishes. Specials are excellent and often unusual.Romeo’s is one of the few Italians in Durham where you can eat more than the usual fare: the meat and fish dishes are highly recommended. If you cannot find it on the menu, the chances are they will cook it for you.
