Full Description
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the famous Ashoka Brasserie in Kirkintilloch has been rebuilt and returned to its former glory since it was destroyed by fire.After a fifteen month hiatus the newly refurbished Askoka Brasserie reopened on the 7th March 2008. Regulars will recognise many of the same staff and all the same authentic Indian cuisine. Customers can now sit back and relax with a drink in the contemporary bar area whilst browsing the dazzling menu of traditional and modern Indian cuisine. Favourites from the menu include the chicken tikka nawabi, rogan josh or the lamb jalandhri - desi style. Inside, the Ashoka Brasserie is not like a traditional Indian restaurant - it's furnished with walnut tables and chairs, a modern striped carpet and grey silk wallpaper on the walls. All in all, the perfect place for a perfect curry.
