Formerly home of the Bank of England’s Scottish headquarters, this stunning Brasserie brings a new air of elegance to the city. Within months of opening, the restaurant was awarded 2 AA rosettes proof of its excellence in quality and service. Already established as one of the city’s must visit restaurants, with a Champagne bar which is always buzzing, Urban Brasserie is the sister to award-winning Urban Grill in Shawlands, and to Gamba Seafood Restaurant.Typical dishes include grilled lemon sole with citrus crème fraiche, saddle of venison with port wine gravy, apple and pumpkin ravioli, chocolate tart with caramel ice-cream and champagne and blueberry jelly with vanilla yoghurt.
