Sygn is a beautifully designed style bar and restaurant situated neatly on the corner of Charlotte Lanein Edinburgh's West End. The glamorous, low-lit main bar is decorated in dark wood and palm-print wallpaper, while the dramatic dining room includes purple velvet booths, gilt mirrors, and chandeliers. The excellent staff create a fun and relaxed atmosphere in this trendy venue which attracts a mixed, well dressed crowd. The restaurant offers delights such as beef carpaccio with white truffle oil, wild rocket and shavings of parmesan, as a starter. Then for the main course guests can choose between favourites such as the pan fried duck breast with steamed pak choi, dauphinoise potatoes and a red wine jus, or the seared scallops on wilted spinach with a lemon and asparagus risotto. Winner of Style Bar of the Year for the third year running, it is easy to see why they have continued to outpace their rivals. A visit to Sygn never disappoints.
