Full Description

Historically known as the ‘Covered Cup’ in reference to the communion chalice of its neighbouring church of St Helens. The award winning Punchbowl lies right at the heart of the tiny village of Churchtown, near Garstang. Located close to the River Wyre enjoy great food and wine whilst taking in the breath taking countryside.Wherever possible their produce is sourced locally. Their menu includes mains such as British steak and local ale pie served with hand cooked chips and red wine gravy or Chris Neves of Fleetwood – Fishermans pie which is topped with Kirkham’s Lancashire cheese. A favourite with the Hi-Life Staff, one visit will see why.

" BY CHANCE WE VISITED THIS RESTAURANT, AT THE TIME IT WAS LOW ON CAPACITY, WHICH ALLOWED US TO HAVE V/GOOD SERVICE. THE FOOD WAS GOOD SERVED BY THE IRISH MANAGER,WHO EXPLAINED THAT WEEKENDS GET VERY BUSY.HENCE NO WEEKEND BOOKINGS ON HI-LIFE "
