Mitton Hall is a newly restored 15th century country house which has been turned into a boutique hotel with brasserie, bar and 18 uniquely decorated bedrooms. At the centre of the building is the stunning Great Hall with a wood panelled minstrels gallery and magnificent fireplace. You can enjoy a drink and soak up the ambience of the Great Hall where you can browse the menu to choose from a mouth watering selection of dishes freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients where possible, all treated with creativity and flair. The stylish brasserie will offer you a comfortable place to enjoy an exceptional meal with friendly and attentive service.

" The food was delicious, I had french onion soup, my Friend had partridge, we both had steaks in peppercorn sauce with chunky chips, for desert i had lemon tart with raspberry sorbet and my friend had blackberry trifle, the service was excellent we saved about £30 it is a lovely place with big cumfy settees next to an open fire to have drinks after, will definatley go again. " wonderful evening - the reception in arrival was very welcoming, the staff helpul even when i was asking if i could have a sauce without peppercorns - they and the chef duly obliged im glad to say as the fillet steak was wonderful. As were the starters and desserts. Cannot wait to go again "

" A pre-Christmas meal here proved to be pure delight. The food was probably the best we had eaten all year. The service was very good and the location and decor fantastic. The huge fire and Christmas tree added a real festive glow. It was our second meal here - and this was even better than the first. Many thanks. "
