Meet is Liverpool's first Argentinean restaurant, bringing the vibrant tastes and flavours of South America to the city. As the name infers, meat lovers will be in seventh heaven with a wide selection of dishes 'de la parrilla' (from the grill) including the classic Parrillada for two - skirt steak, chorizo, morcilla, ribs, pork chop and chicken.All of the beef is imported direct from the Pampas and the gaucho theme extends to the decor, with a huge cow hide covering one of the walls, really adding to the feel of South America. Head chef Juan brings all his experience and flair to every dish and the excellent staff are extremely helpful and friendly, suggesting choices from the vast menu. A personal favourite being estofado (a delicious homemade beef and chorizo stew.) An outing to Meet is always an experience, with a great focus on the customer and a fantastic array of food.
