The Holme Bistro opened in February 2006, with Robson Don Catering Services taking over the business in January 2008, with brother and sister chefs Rob Don and Kirsty Robson, in charge in the kitchen.Both have worked in catering and hospitality for over fifteen years with time spent in Finland, Martha's Vineyard, Sharrow Bay, Slaley Hall and more locally. Rob specialises in starters and main courses, with Kirsty specialising in desserts.They change their menus regularly and are proud to source their supplies locally. Their aim is simple - to provide diners with a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. They want to create the best food from the freshest ingredients, served by enthusiastic happy front and back of house staff.
