Description
The Red House in Heswall builds on the success of The Red House in Chester – with stylish food, service with a smile, and super surroundings. The food has a ‘British bias’, is always fresh, and is terrific value for money. The restaurant itself has a fantastic modern design, with a glass atrium in the roof that makes the place feel light and airy. It also has a fully functioning bar serving a great selection of drinks, including ‘The Red House Cocktail’! The Red House in Heswall is ‘Relaxed Stylish Dining’ at its absolute best.

" This is a restaurant which is really unique with having it´s glass back facing onto the river Dee which on sunny days really comes into its own. The food is well prepared and the service is good. "

" went for a midweek meal for a birthday celebration. food was lovely, service was fantastic and the evening views out over the meadows and city skyline were beautiful. "
Mr Jenkins of WREXHAM  22 August 2010

" Very good food, not too overpriced and nice views over the Dee. Service was quite slow but they may have been short staffed that night. "
Mr Fidler of Ellesmere Port  11 April 2010

" This was a fantastic restaurant, serving wonderful, tasty, classy food. The views across the river Dee were exceptional and the service and decor were excellent. Highly recommended. "

" Short waiting time, excellent food, good service lovely decor. Possibly helped by it being quiet as it was early on a tuesday evening. "
Mr Fendt of Chester  2 October 2009

" Wow, great scenery, lovely decor and the food was delicious. Reasonable value with a good choice of food for each course. Decent wine list with some sensibly priced ones too. Staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. "
Mr McCracken of TARPORLEY  16 September 2009

" Very impressed on arrival - what a fantastic setting overlooking the river. Starter (scallops) excellent, main course (duck) was OK as was the desert (creme brulee). Good service marred slightly by being politely informed that (in spite of the listing in the directory and website) they only accepted 1 card per party of 4 not 2. They let us off this time but said next time they wouldn´t. SO BE CAREFUL!! "
Mr Davies of WREXHAM  25 August 2009
